My story
What started as a personal goal to run in the 2026 Cardiff Half Marathon has become something much more meaningful.
Along the way, I discovered DEBRA, an incredible charity supporting people living with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), often known as Butterfly Skin. EB is a rare genetic condition that causes the skin to be as fragile as a butterfly's wings, making everyday life unimaginably painful.
DEBRA works tirelessly to fund research, repurpose existing NHS medicines to help treat EB, and provide practical and emotional support to those living with the condition and their families.
On 4th October, I'll be taking on the Cardiff Half Marathon in support of DEBRA. However challenging those miles may feel, it's nothing compared with the daily challenges faced by people living with EB.
