Sarah is raising money for Goldenhar Support Group

My story

A sponsored cycle challenge has been organized by me (Sarah Clift) and my partner Craig Boulton to raise money for the Goldenhar Family Support Group registered charity number 1099642. The cyclists taking part all have children born with this rare congenital disorder.

The cyclists that are taking part are Craig Boulton, Richard Offord and Graham Taverner.

Craig, Richard and Graham have gone cycling with family and friends but never done anything like this before!! (hence the challenge!). Sadly due to unforeseen circumstances Graham can no longer do the cycle. So it is now down to two Craig and Richard...Can you please show your support and encouragement for both cyclist....Good Luck to both of you :O)

What is Goldenhar Syndrome?
Goldenhar Syndrome is a rare congenital abnormality. Children born with this condition are usually of normal intelligence and live a normal lifespan.

Abnormalities vary in each child:
Usually affecting one side of the body.
Abnormal, missing or misplaced ears with an associated hearing loss.
The face is smaller on the affected side.
Breathing problems - may need a tracheotomy.
Feeding problems - may need tube feeding.
Abnormal ribs and vertebrae.
The eyes, heart and lungs are sometimes affected.
For more information please click on the groups website

We would like to thank you on behalf of the group for your support. Every donation no matter how small will make a very big difference to a small charity like the Goldenhar Family Support Group and will enable support and information to families affected by this rare syndrome to be continued.

Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Goldenhar Support Group.
