Half marathon for Joshua Orphan and Community Care

I will be running the AJ Bell Great Scottish Half Marathon on the 6th October 2024 to raise money for Joshua Orphan and Community Care.

Joshua is a non-government organisation founded in 1998, that supports a variety of community projects in rural areas of the Blantyre district in Malawi. 
One of their main focuses is on supporting Early child development by creating and working with existing community based childcare centres to provide nutrition and healthcare, and to enable pre-school education at these centres. Through bursary schemes they also help more children access secondary education that is otherwise not free in Malawi, bridging the education gap in these areas. They currently support nearly 1000 vulnerable children in these vital early years.
