My story
On the 16th of July, I am running with a number of colleagues that work at Mitie- Care and Custody. We will be competing in the Heathrow airport midnight marathon.
Heathrow started running the midnight marathon in 2014 as a charity event for local causes the first year raising £30000 for their nominated charity increasing to £54000 being raised in the 2019 event.
Heathrow donate the proceeds to worthy local causes, this year the charity benefitting is Heathrow Community Trust an organisation that provides grants to local organisations to fund local projects in the Heathrow and surrounding areas.
