Support the Karima Foundation in our continued efforts to support the local community. During the current pandemic we made the intention of setting up a waqf (endowment) to secure a sustainable and strong financial future for the community & dawah work.

Everything from our Madaris, Qur'an recitation, ask the Imam, podcasts, regular lessons, gatherings of knowledge to community activities and the management of two community facilities and much more.

Our work has been recognised within the community and beyond , most recently during the pandemic the Foundations volunteers supported hundreds of vulnerable and elderly with essential needs, even receiving a Pride of Bucks Awards, in recognition of our efforts, by Gods permission.

What is WAQF

The waqf model involves establishing investments to generate profits to pay for the costs involved in Da’wa. This includes covering costs for teachers, students, rent, events , charity, etc.

By setting up endowments, supported by our sister organisation, the Ribaat institute, we set up and revive a Prophetic model which is self sustainable, and thus long lasting, when compared for fundraising for donations and applying for grants.

With a strong endowment model we can thus try and secure the future of our organisations and hand the batton to a future generation of custodians
