Lisa's Runway Debut
My story
I am finally making my runway debut...no, not that kind of runway! I am running the full length of a runway at Heathrow Airport in their Midnight Marathon on 1st and 2nd October. It's not that far, just 2.2 miles but anyone who knows me will know that I'm just not a runner so it will be a challenge. As part of a team of 12, every 2.2-mile length of the runway will make up the full marathon distance. All the money raised will go to the Heathrow Community Trust. If you can spare a tenner or a fiver and there's enough of you, I might just hit my target!
