My story
I have suffered with EBS (Epidermolysis Bullosa Simplex) my whole life, I'm very lucky that it only ever affected my feet and as i've got older, it seems to have become a lot easier to manage. Unfortunately I am in the minority and many sufferers of more severe forms of EB do not make it to adulthood. My Sister and her Children all suffer from EBS as well.
This disease is awful and needs more awareness, recognition and funding to help us track down a cure. Debra exists to support the EB community with a range of services intended to enhance the quality of life of those suffering. Please see debra.org.uk/ for more information.

As you can probably see, I didn't make it to LLHM2023 due to an injury at Yarmouth Half Marathon back in March, i've been unable to run more than 5k since then but i've been trying. Debra kindly allowed me to defer my entry until 2024 so I am trying to get back from my injury and do the run next year.
