We are are raising money for Our Moon Education and Pancreatic Cancer UK
Andrew, George, James, Tom and Rich- all friends from school- are gearing up for a 3-day, 550km cycle to Amsterdam to raise money for two fantastic causes.
Cause 1: Pancreatic Cancer UK
Our motivation stems from a deeply personal connection to two very distinct, yet equally vital, causes. The first is Pancreatic Cancer UK, a cause that hits close to home for us. Rich's father is a rare survivor of pancreatic cancer, belonging to the fortunate 25% who live beyond a year's diagnosis. This has inspired us to support Pancreatic Cancer UK, an organisation that not only aids those affected by this devastating disease but also invests in research breakthroughs and advocates for transformative change in its management and treatment. By donating to this cause, you're helping to extend the same hope and support to countless others fighting their battles with pancreatic cancer.
Cause 2: Our Moon Education
Parallel to our commitment to battling pancreatic cancer is our dedication to Our Moon Education. For several years, we've been supporters of this Zambian-based charity, with Rich serving as Chair to the Board of Trustees. Our Moon Education works to uplift bright, financially-disadvantaged young people, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and dispositions necessary for fostering positive social change. They offer access to higher education and personal, lifelong guidance, aiming to empower young Zambians to become socially-conscious leaders who can envisage and enact a better future for themselves and their communities.
By joining us in this cause, your donations will not only propel us closer to Amsterdam but, more importantly, split equally between these two transformative charities. Each pedal stroke carries the promise of hope for pancreatic cancer patients and their families, and each kilometer crossed brings us closer to a world where young Zambians are empowered to lead and inspire change.
Join us on the journey by making a donation to our fundraising page.

Hello everyone!
We’ve just completed the first leg of our 500km journey to Amsterdam, and what a day it has been! As I write this, we're aboard the ferry from Dover to Dunkirk, with just 20km left to cycle before we reach our stop for the night.
Today was challenging—probably (and hopefully) the hardest day of our trip, with a staggering 1,300 meters of incline with 2 punctures and a couple of wrong turns. Once we disembark in Dunkirk, it’s a short ride to our rest spot where we'll recharge and prepare for Day 2.
Thank you so much for your support and encouragement. We'll keep you updated with more as we continue our journey—next stop, Belgium!
