Mission50 Cruising Choir

We (Islington Council Singers choir) are regular users of the club with narrowboat hire for days out.
This time we thought we would use our trip to raise funds for such an amazing and valuable community club!

We are aiming for 50 minutes of singing, so we'll be stopping at various points along our journey and singing to the public, encouraging them to donate online or there and then!
Maybe even getting them to singalong!

Islington Boat Club does wonderful work with a wide range of local people and young children, they've been around for 50 years and we would like to do our bit to help them weather the storm this pandemic has caused and remain for at least another 50 years!

IBC strives to be self-sufficient and rely less on grants, but not being able to hold their usual courses, trip hire and school groups has meant a bit of a gap in their annual income. Several people who support the club are chipping in with donations and challenges, just as we are doing.
