Mossbourne Rowing Academy are raising money for LYR and Mossbourne Charitable Trust
Our story
Mossbourne's rowing programme started in 2004 with just 15 students. Today, in partnership with London Youth Rowing, we are able to offer over 200 students free access to this exceptional sport.
By removing all financial barriers to participation, rowing has become an important part of the transformative education Mossbourne is committed to providing.
The money raised by our "Race the Thames" teams will be used to support LYR's work with the Mossbourne Rowing Academy, ensuring our students have access to the high-calibre coaching and facilities they need to reach their full potential as student-athletes.
A portion also will go to the Mossbourne Charitable Trust, which is responsible for safeguarding the sustainability and growth of our rowing programme for years to come.
