Mums Moves and Grooves (Lisa Forbes)

A group of Mum's of boys and girls who attend First Position's School of Dancing are putting on a dance show to raise funds for local charity, The Shine Project. We have been practicing very hard over the weeks and the dances we are performing turn out to be very complex and challenging. Mrs Natalie, who has choreographed the dances, has made no exceptions to account for our less agile, less taut, Mum bods. We are all going to put on a show which is, if nothing else, entertaining!

The Shine Project supports mental and physical health and wellbeing in teenage girls, so that every young woman believes she is valuable, has skills and talents to offer, understands her ability to make good choices and discovers the unique beauty in herself and others unencumbered by society's preconceptions.
