My story

Hi all as many know I suffered a major knee injury playing rugby when I was young, I managed to run again a few years back but 18 months suffered another chronic injury to the same knee which requires surgery again. I’m he Team manager for the Wales Deaf Rugby Union senior teams who are the current world champions. As we don’t receive any funding from the governing body we have to raise 150k to be able to go to Japan next year to defend the men’s and women’s titles. I’m therefore going to push through the pain barrier ‘stupidly’ and run the Newport Half Marathon in order to raise as much as I possibly can in order to get them to Japan. Any support is hugely welcome no matter how small! To anyone who sponsors me I can’t thank you enough.

This is going to hurt 🤦🏻🏃
