Our story
In little over 5 weeks we will be taking on my biggest challenge ever along with both my daughters Amber and Robyn.
On April 19th we will be taking to the start line of the Manchester Marathon.
It will be a big ask but still not as hard as what my brother Michael has been going through for the last 18yrs, in 2008 he was diagnosed with a rare Blood cancer, after 2 bone marrow transplants we were happy to hear the news he was in remission .
That was until 2024 when he was informed he had another form of cancer which would require surgery. I'm happy to say that the surgery was successful and he was in the clear again.
Then last year during his regular scans they saw a shadow on his lung. This was the start to more Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy for lung cancer and he is now currently going through the same again for bowel cancer.
Everyone has been affected by Cancer at some point of their lives, please give as much or as little as you can, no amount of is to small.
After speaking with Mike we agreed we would support The National Association of Blood Bikes (NABB) as without them he wouldn't be here today.
Everyone supports the big charities, let's not forget the little ones too.
Thank you for checking out our page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Nationwide Association Of Blood Bikes.
