LYR are a youth charity that motivates, inspires, and empowers young people from disadvantaged communities through the life skills gained from Rowing, targeting those who sit on the side-lines at PE to enable them to get active, find positive social groups and develop the essential life skills that rowing nurtures.

LYR aim to help their students break through glass ceilings and achieve their potential through developing their life skills and demonstrating how valuable they are through their links with businesses like Mistral Data.

Mistral Data are a recently formed company developing data driven software services to help our customers improve the services they in turn offer to their customers. Our focus is on the ingest, integration, visualisation and analysis of different data sources using cloud native technology to provide a data driven insight to our customers business challenges.

We're supporting LYR by fundraising for them though one of LYR's great challenges, Race the Thames. We'll be competing remotely as an eight with lots of other teams in the UK over 346km distance, all submitting our daily distances whether run or walked, over the course of a week from 8th Dec to 15th Dec.

Some of us sat on the sidelines as kids and some of us were more active, but we're all pulling together as a team now. We hope that you'll support us! Our octuple are:
