My story
Hello all!
In April this year I am excited to be taking on the challenge of running The London Marathon.
Those that know me know that sport plays a huge part in my life, and I am thrilled to be running for a great sports related charity.
The Lord’s Taverners exists to positively impact the lives of young people facing the challenges of inequality.
They work across the UK and beyond to provide inclusive and impactful cricket programmes, empowering young people with disabilities and from disadvantaged communities to develop the knowledge, skills, capabilities and confidence required to overcome the challenges of inequality, raise their aspirations and reach their potential.
Having recently witnessed one of their programmes first hand it has given me added motivation to support the wonderful work they do in the community.
After years of watching friends suffer whilst running the marathon for a host of great causes, its my turn to be put through my paces.
