Rach's Year

Anyone who know's me will understand things are either bland and plain or extremely extra and over the top.. I have no in between. I have decided that 2020 will be my year. After a good 9 years of every problem in the Wikipedia for medics and doctors I have decided it’s time to give back to a few Charities that have helped me along my way.

Over 2020 I will be completing a variety of crazy activities:

* Tandem Skydive (12,000ft)

* Walk up the 02 London

* Wales Zip World Velocity (The fastest zip line in the world-The closest thing to flying, where you reach speeds of up to 118mph for 1555 metres more than 1000ft high up!)

* Run 5k in Cheltenham running festival

* Abseil of Forth Bridge in Scotland

I want to raise at least £400 of which will be split between these charities:

-Springfield MIND in Stratford Upon Avon

-Endometriosis UK

-Pain UK

-The Friends of Worcestershire Royal Hospital

I have wanted to do some of these challenges for a few years now but have been turned down due to health or because I’ve been stuck in op recovery. For the first time in 9 years I feel like I finally have control over my own health and my own mind(It's time to take control even more and face my fear of heights!!) I am determined to not let any health labels stop me from doing crazy things however cannot guarantee that circumstances will change. In the event this does happen, events will be rearranged for a later date - they will be completed!
