Ride Strong with Katrina: Together Against Breast Cancer

These conversations are crucial - and far too rare.

As someone deeply passionate about health equity and breaking the silence around invisible conditions like adenomyosis, endometrium, mental health and other hidden symptoms, I’ve learned firsthand how isolating these experiences can be.

I’ve lived with adenomyosis for years, recently received a diagnosis of triple-positive breast cancer, and am now navigating medically induced menopause. On top of that, I’m doing all of this as a Deaf woman - adding another layer to an already complex {and often lonely} health journey.

Next year, I’ll turn 50. I had planned to run a 12K with my daughter in Ibiza, but that dream was paused when I found a lump - or two - and had to begin treatment immediately.

I’m taking on a massive personal challenge - cycling 311 miles (500km) from London to Paris in just 4 days. It won’t be easy, but all in support of some amazing charities. It’s going to be a memorable ride!

I’m doing this cycle challenge not just for myself, but for everyone fighting their own battles - silently or not. I ride to raise awareness, to support vital charities, and to remind others that they’re not alone.
