Rob Deane Memorial Match
Winchmore Hill & Enfield Hockey Ladies Section are raising money for Metropolitan Police Benevolent Fund
Our story
In memory of Rob Deane, a much valued part of our hockey family. Daddy Deane as he was affectionately known was a much loved addition to the side line. Whether he was umpiring, coaching, managing subs or just spectating, his presence will be greatly missed.

ROB DEANE MEMORIAL MATCH
Back in April the section lost a much loved member of our hockey family, Rob Deane, who sadly passed away after a short and sudden illness.
The ladies section will be hosting a Memorial Match in tribute to Rob. This will be held at Southbury Leisure Centre on Sunday 8th September 2024, 12pm Push Back.
The teams will consist of past and present women’s players.
All monies raised on the day will be donated to the Metropolitan Police Benevolent Fund - donations can be made here: donate.giveasyoulive.com/fundraising/robert-stephen-deane-memorial-match
It would be great to see as many of the section’s members, friends and former players in attendance, any former players who would like to participate in the match should contact Gemma Gatting on 07742 267308.
