Joanna Allen is raising money for Heathrow Community Trust
Runway Run
My story
At midnight on October 1st I will be running down one of Heathrows Runways 🏃♀️ as a team, with 11 other female pilots to raise money for Heathrow Community Trust.
Figured it will be a lot of fun - I normally spend about 60 - 90 seconds on the runway during take off or landing - so running it will be quite something!
It’s a relay marathon which means we will run one length of the runway each. This equals a combined marathon length of 26.2 miles/42.2 kilometres (2.2 miles/3.5 kilometres each).
