My story
I’m taking part in Step Up for Impact, Impact London Collective’s (ILC) first-ever fundraising walk, on Sunday, 10th May. I will be walking 21 km (easy!) through central London - following a route that will take in sites and locations rooted in feminist history and collective action. Each km represents one of the 21 organisations that ILC has supported since 2020. And we want to support more!
I’ve been a committed member and member of the Leadership Team of ILC for 7 years. ILC brings together individuals who pool their giving to fund grassroots charities supporting women and girls across London - organisations doing vital, often underfunded work.
What I love about ILC is that it’s:
- Collective - many people giving together to create real impact
- Local - funding organisations rooted in London communities
- Trust-based - backing charities with unrestricted funding
