My story
11 July 2026 will be ten years since Simon Gray died... it's been 10 years of widowhood for Emma, but more heartbreakingly... he has missed seeing his daughters transform into the most amazing young women - they are now 16 and 18 years old. He would be so proud of them. It is so sad he's missed out on so much, and even more upsetting that the girls are growing up without him.
These charities are two cancer charities who made a huge positive life changing difference to Team Gray when Simon was ill with oesophageal cancer (Force Cancer Charity and Hospiscare), the RMA Charity who support all Royal Marine families and WAY (Widowed and Young) who have provided Emma with support from people who "get it".
