The Flin twins season 2 (only 1 now standing!)

In 2008, my brother, Andy Flindall, ran the London Marathon in record hot temperatures. That was until 10 years later in 2018, when I ran it when it was even hotter. Despite the challenges, we both managed to get round and raise lots of money for charity. However, we both feel like we have unfinished business with the London Marathon and wanted to give it another crack. Unfortunately, COVID has put paid to Andy’s 2021 attempt, but he’ll be back in 2022!

2020/21 has been a difficult year for lots of reasons, but even more so for many charities, who usually run events to raise money for fantastic causes. As West Midlands Chair of the Lords Taverners, this special charity is close to my heart, giving disadvantaged and disabled children a chance to get involved in sport. Lockdown has only made the work of the charity even more important, giving many kids their first opportunity to get involved in sport and hopefully start a lifetime of activity. I'm also in my final year as Chairman so want to go out with a bang!
