MPs v journos: raising money for the Met Police Benevolent Fund

The Spoon is raising money for Metropolitan Police Benevolent Fund
My story
We're raising money for the Met Police Benevolent Fund, a fantastic charity that provides assistance to serving, and former Metropolitan Police Officers and their dependants in need. Given the horrific events in Westminster earlier this year we wanted to say thank you to those who protect us, and to their families, and this is our small way of showing our gratitude to those who run towards danger as others run away.
To raise money, the morning news email The Spoon has organised a sports day on 19 July 2017, where The Spoon will face off again a team of MPs led by Sports Minister Tracey Crouch and its friends at the other morning emails, from the Telegraph, Huffington Post, Times Red Box and Politics Home. We'll be joined by the Met Police Benevolent Fund's Chief Superintendent Simon Ovens.
Please do come watch- we'll be at Victoria Tower Gardens next to the House of Lords at 10-11am; and give generously!
