University of Manchester Hedgehog Action Group - Bakesale

The UoM Hedgehog Action Group is proud to host a community bake sale in support of the Withington Hedgehog Care Trust, a local charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing vulnerable hedgehogs.

Every year, hundreds of hedgehogs are brought to the Trust suffering from injury, illness, or habitat loss. For over 40 years, they have provided vital medical treatment, safe shelter, and ongoing care, work that is entirely dependent on donations and volunteer support.

To help raise essential funds, our members and supporters are coming together to bake a delicious selection of homemade cakes, pastries, and treats. Whether it’s a classic sponge, vegan brownie, or a tray of themed cupcakes, every item sold will directly contribute to food, medicines, and equipment needed for the hedgehogs currently in care.

By supporting this bake sale, you’re helping give these much-loved animals a second chance at life.
