A Life Free of Pain

DEBRA UK is a charity that supports families and research into Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). DEBRA's 'A Life Free of Pain' appeal aims to raise £5m by the end of 2023 to develop treatments that will enable people to live free from the pain of EB. I was born with Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa (Recessive) (RDEB) in the 60's where very little information or support was available to my parents and me. In plain English, RDEB means fragile skin that scars and blisters. For over 5 decades I have gone through life in constant physical pain from the damage to my skin, and I want to do my part by raising funds in support of the appeal 'A Life Free of Pain', as well as organising fun charity events, to support and raise awareness of DEBRA UK.
