Walk for Bal 2026

For those who didn't know Bal, he was a brilliant teacher, friend and former colleague of ours and is still missed dearly. He suffered all of his short life with EB (epidermolysis bullosa) which is an incredibly painful skin condition that causes the skin to blister and tear at the slightest touch. Those affected by it are known as butterfly children because their skin is often compared to the fragility of butterfly wings. We were lucky enough to directly support Bal with this over the years and as a collective, we made a difference to ease his daily struggle at the end of his life. As friends, we continue to support Debra.org.uk in Bal's name.
