My story
In September 2020 I was diagnosed with Stage 1b Melanoma Skin Cancer at 29 years old after finding a mole which appeared and changed over a few months. Initially, I had a £1 sized incision removed for biopsy. In November 2020 I had a wider local excision and two lymph nodes removed from groin.
Since then, I have walked 100 miles in a month once a year and fundraised for research via different charities. This year I am doing it with Melanoma Focus.
Being a mum of two young children, I will be fitting my walks in around the chaos of life with two under two! And picking accessible walks that are pram friendly. So please join me- either with a walk or through donation (or both!). Let’s get our SPF on and get outside for May!
