Wednesday Warriors Crew is raising money for LYR and Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex
My story
Members of our Wednesday Warriors Zoom Ergos crew know first hand the multitude of benefits rowing brings us whether fitness, friendship or life skills. Join us free on one of our sessions on zoomergos.com so we are delighted to support LYR again for their Dec 2023 Race The Thames campaign for our third time!
We are also supporting the Air Ambulance Kent Surrey Sussex (KSS) Charity aakss.org.uk/about-us/ where time is critical to save lives.
Their Restart-A-Heart Campaign in October helped to raise awareness for all to help with life skills here. aakss.org.uk/get-involved/restart-a-heart-day/.
We discovered this year that some Air Ambulance paramedics and staff use a rowing machine in their station to help keep fit as well as help to decompress after a shout! What a great way to use an ergo!

A massive thanks to all who have participated in the past few months Zoom Ergo Sessions and/or donated to our joint charity fundraising campaign for our pre-christmas Race The Thames hosted by LYR. The generosity of folk, whether time & talent or funds, continues to impress upon us the wider values of rowing at whatever level.
