Wheel 2 Victory 2023

Declan Jenkinson & Jenny Robinson are raising money for Leeds Rhinos Foundation and A-T Society

Our story

Myself will be running in my 4th Leeds 10K Run for All 2023 on Sunday 18th June 2023 with my partner Jenny who will be wheeling herself to victory for the 2nd year in this race. We both are LD Ambassadors for the Rugby League World Cup 2021 and we are also part of various projects.

I am the Co-Captain of Leeds Rhinos LDSL Team and Ambassador for the Tryclub, as well as working for the NHS, So this will be a challenge for me. Jenny is an active member of the Leeds Amazons Powerchair Football Team. She always goes the extra mile. As well as being a football player, she is also an Assistant Coach and Media Volunteer of Leeds Rhinos LDSL. She is part of Leeds 2023 and Pyramid of Arts. We are both LD Ambassadors.

This is my 5th Race
This is Jennys 2nd.

We both are doing this together as we both believe in helping others towards a cure or even helping the community.

STATEMENT from Jenny
I have ehlers danlos syndrome and other conditions. I'll be using my 3 wheeled trike (for the first time) to do a 10k marathon next month for the Leeds 10k run for all. For 2 charities 1 is the AT society a condition which my sister had shes sadly passed away now. Ataxia-Telangiectasia It's a very rare condition they don't get alot of funding. It needs more help it breaks my heart people still don't get as much support now

Also we're doing it for leeds rhinos foundation a charity which helps wheelchair rugby, learning disability rugby, physical disability rugby. They also help children, teens and even older people to either play rugby, coach, volunteer or join socialising groups. There a amazing charity which helps my fiance Declan Jenkinson who is the co-captain of the learning disability team. And also I'm the assistant coach and media Facilitator there.

So for the 2nd time I'll be doing it for these 2 charities.
The last time I did this marathon for eds uk too which means so much to me too. Me and my mum have eds also alot of my friends do. So when there's another challenge I'd love to do something else for eds uk

It would mean so much if you could donate even if its a little bit. Share and also comment I just want to raise as much as I can for worthy charities.
I'm wheelchair bound 247 so for me to use a trike for 10k will be a really really hard challenge for me. But I never do anything In half's thanks so much ❤️
