Hi everyone,
I am truly quite rubbish at adding updates to my Big BaNES page, so here's a quick summary:
I am now up to 80km, and I've got there by going round and round the Round Hill in Weston...including some incredibly early dog walks with Dilys (who belongs to Humphrey, Senior Mentoring Manager at Mentoring Plus) during the hideous heatwave!
This means I am right on target to reach 100km by the start of the school holidays.
So, what next?
My original goal was to clock up 100km before the term ended, and invite my friends, family and local connections to kindly donate.
However, as we've had a lot of change at my daughter's school, and my son is about to start in September, I feel like the summer is a good opportunity to get out walking together and chat about what lies ahead.
So, with that in mind, I'm going to aim to do another 100km before the challenge ends on September 30th.
Please donate if you can.
Every £10 will give a young person a free listening support session with OTR or mentoring session with Mentoring Plus - safe spaces where they can be themselves and talk openly about what's on their mind.
Thank you so much.
