Fabulous Forty Fundraising

I'm starting my fifth decade by raising £2000 for two outstanding causes by completing the following

1. Take part in a Middle Distance AquaBike - that's a 2km Open Water Swim and 80km Bike at Belvoir Castle on the 3rd of September
   

2. Sit as a life model for the first time in 20 years - painting is under way!
   

3. Go on a full day guided back country ski #adventure - booked for 9th of February in Fernie, Canada
   

4. Complete the Leicester sporting #hospitality quadrumvirate with an invite to Riders and LCFC.
   

5. Make ice cream. Honestly can’t believe I’ve never done this.
   

6. Complete a proper forward and back flip on a trampoline
   

7. Become a charity #trustee
   

8. Master 25 comprehensible sign language sentences
   

9. Relearn to juggle – use it or lose it.
10. Learn all the kings and queens in order
11. Complete an entire Guardian cryptic #crossword by myself
12. Have brunch (the sexiest of all the meals) with Harry Styles. Believe achieve.

Tree Aid can tackle poverty and the effects of the climate crisis by growing trees, improving incomes, and restoring and protecting land. Their projects make sure trees thrive so they can provide food and incomes today and protect the environment for tomorrow.
Hope Against Cancer can continue to fund the ground breaking research going on in Leicestershire to better prevent and treat many types of cancer. The delivery of these trials at the Hope Cancer Trials Centre gives many families hope, and lets them spend more time with their loved ones as they test the latest treatments for use around the world.
