Help Ricky Breathe

Father Ricky Gerena has been an important figure in our community for decades. He always showed that kindness and dedication can help us all move forward to better, more positive times.

Although Ricky is currently recovering at home, he suffered a serious emergency that required medical intervention at the Professional Hospital and Auxilio Mutuo Hospital. Ricky had a biliary obstruction and was in critical condition for more than two weeks. The blockage caused damage to multiple organs and his heart was operating at 20% capacity. Ricky has gone through the worst of it, but recovery will take time and effort. He needs our help to cover the costs associated with his medical emergency and recovery efforts.

Throughout his life, F. Ricky always put others first and protected the less fortunate and needy. As a priest of the Catholic Church in Puerto Rico, he was there through countless natural disasters and tirelessly campaigned to provide aid to those in need as well as help each other in need. set.
