Streetwork are a charity based in Edinburgh which helps those experiencing homelessness. Through their services they are able to reach out, respond and help resolve homelessness. Their Holyrood Hub & Helpline offers access to amenities, support and immediate advice every day of the year. Their outreach teams go out to find and support people where they are in Edinburgh ? on the street, in community settings and visiting people in their homes.
This year, Law At Work are fundraising for Streetwork to help support their invaluable work. As part of our calendar of fundraising events, 12 of us will be taking part in the Rough Runner 10k on 18th August 2018.
Rough Runner is a combination of distance running and epic obstacles inspired by TV shows such as Total Wipeout and Gladiators. We will be trying to jump over the sweeper arm, getting soaked on the 40m water slide and trying not to fall over on the travellator.
This is a huge challenge for us all but for a great cause and we hope you will support us and Streetwork by donating what you can!
