Who
We're a youth charity that motivates, inspires, and empowers young people from disadvantaged communities through the life skills gained from Rowing, Active Row is uniquely placed to enable those who sit on the side-lines at PE to get active, find positive social groups and develop essential life skills that rowing nurtures. Our aim is the help our students break through glass ceilings and achieve their potential through developing their life skills and demonstrating how valuable they are through our links with businesses like yours.

How
Support us by donating or fundraising through one of our great team building challenges and events where we give you and your colleagues access to the ultimate team building sport, all built for non-rowers whether on machines indoor, or on the water.
You can also support us through our Active Row Life Skills programme by presenting at one of our workshops or recording life skills videos for our portal.

There is no other indoor rowing event like this! Not only a strong team event, but in front of thousands of young people from our programmes doing the same thing at NJIRC, our junior championships. The atmosphere at Race the Thames Live is amazing, and you’ll see the power of rowing! The challenge is for a team of 8 people to row 72km on a single rowing machine at either the copper box Arena in London or the John Charles CS in Leeds. Get your team, get training, and get inspired by what this sport can do!
