Dusty Forge Pantry

Here at the Dusty forge pantry we pride ourselves being there for our community members. We opened your local pantry 4 years ago and we were the first in Wales to do so. We saw a need in the community of Ely and Caerau for affordable eating and to food waste reucdtion so we partnered with fareshare cymru to be able to provide this essential service. That was 4 years ago and we are still going strong. We pride ourselves on providing our memebrs with:

Dignity: Everyone deserves secure access to good food. In a Pantry, everyone is greeted with compassion and respect.

Choice: Community food initiatives vary, but at Your Local Pantry shops, members always choose the food they want.

Hope: Pantries help to create financial wriggle-room for members to start building the better future they seek. By reducing weekly shopping bills, members can free up money to cover other bills, repay debt, or start pursuing their and their children’s dreams.
